Mullen Insurance Agency

I am the founder of the Mullen Insurance Agency. I was born and raised in Fergus Falls, so this is truly a home town agency. I started out in insurance as a part time secretary while attending college, and advanced through customer service and became an agent in 1987. After twelve years in commercial lines customer service, I started an agency with an associate. In 2007 I started Mullen Insurance Agency.
In 2008, we found the perfect spot for our agency, and built our office next to Goodyear in the City Center Mall in Fergus Falls, MN. This move allows our clients easy access to our agency, with great parking!
Our focus started out primarily in the hospitality industry with programs for hotels, motels, resorts, campgrounds, restaurants and bars. Through our association with Insurance Associates of America, a cluster of 60 or so insurance agencies throughout the Midwest, we have access to many national carriers that are not usually available to small, hometown agencies. Some of the companies include Travelers, Safeco, CNA, Hartford, and Selective. With access to these carriers, we can help our contractor clients and many other business owners outside of the hospitality industry. This association provides us with many opportunities to improve our client’s coverage while saving them premium dollars which is the main mission of our agency.

Craig Mullen worked construction for 30 years, and brings first-hand knowledge of the construction industry to our agency. He enjoys talking to contractors in particular, and applies all our resources to increasing coverage while saving money for those with which he works.

Allison started her career in the insurance industry with real estate title insurance and closings. She is licensed in property/casualty and accident/health/life insurance.

Allison is a Fergus Falls native. She and her husband Chris have four beautiful children: Ali, Isaac, Ethan, and Adam. Allison’s children are active in school sports, dance, orchestra, and many other activities that keep them busy. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, walking, writing, riding her ATV, and being involved in her church family.

Kathryn A. Gigler serves as Operations/Administration Manager, Employee Benefits at AdvisorNet Financial, Inc. Her firm serves the Midwest region with financial planning, insurance, securities, and employee benefit planning and products. Kathryn manages the employee benefits division, as a resource for businesses, individuals and other consultants with health, life, disability, dental, long term care, health savings accounts, cafeteria plans and other benefits.

A native of Minnesota, she is a member of the Minnesota Health Underwriters Association, The Financial Planners Association of Minnesota and the Anoka Rotary. Kathryn has a BS from Mankato State University with a double major in Accounting and Business Administration, an MBA with a Finance concentration from the Carlson School of Business, University of Minnesota. She has earned the Certified Financial Planner designation and the Chartered Financial Consultant designation. Kathryn holds a Series 7 security license, a Life and Health Insurance license in Minnesota and Wisconsin and a Property and Casualty Insurance license in Minnesota. Her 28 years of experience in the financial services industry provides excellent insight and expertise to assist consultants and clients with employee benefits.
